Product Overview

The HG4930 is a micro-electro-mechanical system (MEMS) based inertial measurement unit (IMU) designed for a wide range of applications including agriculture, AUVs, industrial equipment, robotics, survey/mapping, stabilized platforms, transportation, UAVs, and UGVs. It offers an industry-standard communication interface for easy integration. Its extremely small size, light weight, and low power consumption make it ideal for most applications. The HG4930 includes MEMS gyroscopes and accelerometers, and features an internal environmental isolation system to attenuate unwanted inputs. Honeywell screens and calibrates all MEMS inertial sensors. Key advantages include world-class inertial sensor development, calibration and compensation, proven reliability and ruggedness, RS-422 Asynchronous or SDLC standard protocols, and it is a cost-effective replacement for a FOG.
