Honeywell SNG-S Series Speed Sensors
The Honeywell SNG-S Series Speed Sensors utilize a magnetically biased Hall-effect integrated circuit (IC) to accurately detect the movement of ferrous metal targets. These sensors are sealed in rugged, probe-type packages and provide a digital pulse output proportional to the target's speed. They offer enhanced reliability with IP69K rating, EMC immunity, and a wide operating temperature range. Designed for cost-competitiveness and flexibility, they expedite installation with features like an O-ring seal and a fixed mounting flange. Applications include transmission speed sensing, wheel speed detection, and motor speed sensing in heavy-duty trucks, buses, agriculture, and construction machines. Not recommended for Aerospace or Defense applications.
