Product Overview
The VF360NT, VF360ST, and VF460S are high sensitivity latching digital Hall-effect sensor ICs from Honeywell. These versatile devices are operated by magnetic fields from permanent magnets or electromagnets, responding to alternating North and South poles. The VF360NT activates with a North pole, while the VF360ST and VF460S activate with a South pole. Unlike competitive sensors that use chopper stabilization, these ICs feature a non-chopper-stabilized design, resulting in a clean output signal and faster latch response times. This design enhances efficiency in applications like brushless DC motors (BLDC) and offers potential for use in various applications due to a wide supply voltage range and no chopper delay. AEC-Q100 qualification ensures enhanced reliability, making them suitable for harsh automotive environments without additional qualification testing.
