The TARS-B Series Transportation Attitude Reference System (TARS-IMU) is a ruggedized inertial measurement unit designed for demanding applications in heavy-duty and off-highway transportation. It provides vehicle angular rate, acceleration, and attitude data, enabling autonomous vehicle capabilities, enhanced efficiency, and improved productivity. The sensor fusion algorithm can be customized via on-board firmware, and it supports a wide operating voltage range (9 V to 36 V) with industry-standard CAN J1939 connectivity. Factory calibration on aerospace-grade rate tables ensures consistency.
