Honeywell SNG-S Series Speed Sensors
The Honeywell SNG-S Series Speed Sensors utilize a magnetically biased Hall-effect integrated circuit (IC) to accurately detect the movement of ferrous metal targets. These sensors are sealed in rugged, probe-type packages and are designed to provide a digital pulse output proportional to the speed of a revolving gear wheel. They offer enhanced reliability through IP69K rating, EMC radiated immunity, O-ring seals, and a wide operating temperature range. The cost-competitive design, enabled by a platform-based approach, provides mechanical and electrical configurability. Their flexibility is highlighted by robust electrical noise immunity and enhanced environmental sealing. Installation is expedited by an O-ring seal for pressure applications and a fixed mounting flange requiring only one fastener.
