Product Overview

The SS400 Series and SS500 Series are versatile, digital Hall-effect sensor ICs designed for operation by magnetic fields from permanent magnets or electromagnets. They respond to alternating North and South poles, or to a South pole only, and are available in bipolar, latching, or unipolar magnetic configurations. Featuring on-board regulation for stable operation across a wide supply voltage range (3.8 Vdc to 30 Vdc), these sensors offer a continuous 20 mA sinking output, with a maximum capability of 50 mA. Their digital, open collector sinking output ensures easy interfacing with various electronic circuits. The SS400 Series products are tested for reliable performance and consistent quality at 25 C [75 F] and 125 C [257 F], with all catalog listings qualified for operation up to 150 C [302 F].
