Product Overview
The HIH-5030/5031 Series Low Voltage Humidity Sensors are designed for high-volume OEM applications, particularly in battery-powered systems operating down to 2.7 Vdc. These Surface Mount Devices (SMD) are supplied on tape and reel for automated manufacturing, offering near-linear voltage output for direct controller input. With low current draw, they are ideal for low-drain applications. The series boasts instrumentation-quality RH sensing performance in a competitively priced, solderable SMD package. The HIH-5030 is a covered integrated circuit humidity sensor, while the HIH-5031 adds a factory-fitted hydrophobic filter for condensation resistance, making it suitable for condensing environments.
