Product Overview
The SS400F and SS400G Series are versatile digital Hall-effect sensors designed for magnetic field operation. They respond to alternating North and South poles or to a South pole only, with bipolar, latching, and unipolar magnetic options available. Featuring band gap regulation for stable operation across a 3.8 Vdc to 30 Vdc supply voltage range, these sensors offer a continuous 20 mA sinking output, with a maximum cycle capability of 50 mA. Their 3.8 V capability makes them suitable for low-voltage applications.

Caution Notice
Bipolar Hall-effect sensors may have an initial output in either the ON or OFF state if powered up with an applied magnetic field in the differential zone (applied magnetic field >Brp and <Bop). Honeywell recommends allowing 10 s for output voltage to stabilize after supply voltage has reached 5 V.
