Product Description
The HAL9303 is a small, general-purpose, linear Hall effect sensor. Its output signal level is proportional to the magnetic field strength applied to the device's sensitive surface. At zero magnetic field, the output voltage is half of the supply voltage. When an S pole is present on the marked face (TO/SW package), the output voltage linearly increases with magnetic field strength. Conversely, an N pole causes the output voltage to linearly decrease with increasing magnetic field strength. It features low noise output, eliminating the need for external filtering, and includes thin-film resistors for improved temperature stability and accuracy. The SO package has opposite sensing polarity compared to the TO/SW package. The operating temperature range is -40 to 150, making it suitable for various commercial and industrial environments. Key features include good stability, a response speed of 25KHz, and low power consumption (VDD=1.8V, IDD700uA) with a real-to-real output. Applications include joysticks, motion detection, proximity detection, and rotary encoders.
