The GX1831 is a 12-bit resolution digital thermometer offering programmable non-volatile temperature upper and lower limit alarms. It communicates via a single-bus protocol, requiring only one signal and one ground wire. With a temperature measurement range of -55C to +125C and an accuracy of 0.4C within -10C to +70C, it also supports parasitic power mode, eliminating the need for an external power supply. Each GX1831 features a unique 64-bit serial number, enabling networking of multiple sensors on the same bus for distributed temperature monitoring in applications like HVAC, building and equipment monitoring, and industrial process control.
