Chip Overview
The GX36 is a low-voltage Celsius temperature sensor providing an analog voltage output linearly proportional to the Celsius temperature. It is factory calibrated, eliminating the need for external calibration. Typical accuracy is 1C at +25C and 2C over the -40C to +125C temperature range. Its low output impedance, linear output, and factory calibration simplify temperature control circuits and ADC requirements. The sensor can be powered by a single 2.7V to 5.5V supply. With a supply current below 50A, self-heating is minimal (less than 0.1C in still air). A shutdown function can reduce the supply current to below 0.5A. The rated temperature range is -40C to +125C. The output scale factor is 10mV/C. The GX36 is available in SOT23-5, SOT23-3, SOP8, and TO92 packages.
