Product Overview
The GX18B20 is a digital thermometer with programmable resolution from 9 to 12 bits, communicating via a 1-Wire interface that requires only a single data line. It features a unique 64-bit serial number for each chip, enabling multidrop capability for distributed temperature sensing. The device can be powered directly from the data line (parasite power) within a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V. It offers a measuring range of -55C to +125C with 0.4C accuracy from -10C to +85C. The GX18B20 includes user-definable nonvolatile alarm settings and an Alarm Search command to identify devices outside programmed limits. It is available in multiple package types including MSOP8, SOP8, and various TO-92 variants.
