GX18B20 Programmable Resolution 1-Wire Digital Thermometer
The GX18B20 is a digital thermometer that offers user-selectable temperature measurements from 9 to 12 bits in Celsius. It features an alarm function with nonvolatile user-programmable upper and lower trigger points. Communication is handled via a 1-Wire bus, requiring only one data line and ground. The device can operate within a supply voltage range of 2.5V to 5.5V and can derive power directly from the data line (parasite power mode), eliminating the need for an external power supply. Each GX18B20 possesses a unique 64-bit serial code, enabling multiple devices to function on the same 1-Wire bus, simplifying distributed temperature-sensing applications. It boasts an operating temperature range of -55C to +125C and an accuracy of 0.4C from -10C to +85C. The conversion time to a 12-bit digital word is a maximum of 750ms.
