GX21M15 (GX75B) Digital Temperature Sensor with Watchdog Function

The GX21M15 is a temperature-to-digital converter featuring an on-chip bandgap temperature sensor and - A/D conversion technology with overheat detection output. It includes configuration, temperature, and setpoint registers accessible via a 2-wire serial IC bus interface. The device offers a programmable overheat shutdown threshold and hysteresis limit, with an open-drain OS output that activates when temperature exceeds programmed limits. It supports up to 8 devices on the same bus due to 3 logic address pins. The GX21M15 can be configured for normal or shutdown modes, and its OS output can function as a comparator or interrupt, with configurable active high or low states. It is pin-compatible with industry-standard LM75 and LM75A, offering high temperature resolution and a wide supply voltage range. Applications include system thermal management, personal computers, electronic equipment, and industrial controllers.
