The GX18B20 is a programmable resolution 1-Wire digital thermometer featuring a unique 64-bit serial number for each chip. It simplifies distributed temperature sensing with its multidrop capability and requires no external components, capable of being powered directly from the data line. Offering a wide measuring range of -55C to +125C with 0.4C accuracy from -10C to +85C, it allows user-selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits. The device includes user-definable nonvolatile alarm settings and an alarm search command to identify devices outside programmed limits. Available in various packages, it is ideal for applications such as temperature control, industrial systems, consumer goods, and thermal monitoring.
