Product Overview
The AH1887 is a micropower, ultra-sensitive Hall effect switch designed for battery-powered, handheld equipment. It features two Hall effect plates and a dual CMOS output driver, offering low power consumption down to 15uW at a 1.8V supply. The device activates its outputs when exposed to a sufficiently strong magnetic field (either north or south pole) and deactivates when the field is removed. Output1 responds to a South pole, and Output2 responds to a North pole, with distinct operate and release points. Its chopper-stabilized design ensures superior temperature stability and minimal switch-point drift. The AH1887 is ideal for applications requiring sensitive magnetic detection in compact, power-constrained devices.
