The GX18B20 is a programmable resolution 1-Wire digital thermometer featuring a unique 64-bit serial number for each chip. It simplifies distributed temperature sensing with its multidrop capability and requires no external components, capable of being powered directly from the data line. Offering a wide measuring range from -55C to +125C with 0.4C accuracy between -10C and +85C, it allows user-selectable resolution from 9 to 12 bits. The device includes user-definable nonvolatile alarm settings and an alarm search command to identify devices outside programmed limits. Available in various packages including MSOP8, SOP8, and TO-92 variants, it is ideal for temperature control, industrial systems, consumer goods, and thermal monitoring applications.
