Product Overview
The SPL16-001 is a miniaturized Digital Barometric Air Pressure Sensor offering high accuracy and low current consumption. It functions as both a pressure and temperature sensor, utilizing a capacitive sensing principle for precise measurements even with temperature fluctuations. Its compact package makes it ideal for mobile and wearable applications. The internal signal processor converts sensor outputs to 24-bit results. Each sensor is individually calibrated with coefficients provided for converting measurements to true pressure and temperature values. The integrated FIFO can store the latest 32 measurements, allowing the host processor to remain in sleep mode for extended periods, reducing overall system power consumption. Sensor data and calibration coefficients are accessible via the I2C interface.
