Product Overview

The AH3372 is a high voltage, high sensitivity Hall Effect Unipolar switch IC designed for proximity, position, and level sensing in industrial and consumer home appliances and personal care applications. Optimized for a wide supply range of 3.0V to 28V, it features a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator for temperature compensation, ensuring reliable operation. The device includes reverse blocking diode and Zener clamp on the supply, along with an over-current limit and Zener clamp on the output for robustness. The single open-drain output switches on with a South pole of sufficient strength, remaining on until the magnetic flux density drops below the release point. The magnetic polarity for operation differs between SOT23/SIP-3 and SC59 packages.
