AH3712 High-Voltage, High-Sensitivity Hall Effect Latch
The AH3712 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-effect latch IC designed for commutation of brushless DC motors, flow meters, linear encoders, and position sensors in industrial and consumer home appliance and personal care applications. Optimized for a 3.0V to 27V supply range, it features a chopper-stabilized architecture and internal bandgap regulator for reliable operation across the entire range. The output includes an overcurrent limit. The single open-drain output switches on with a South pole and off with a North pole of sufficient strength. It latches until the magnetic flux density reverses below the release point.
