The AH1815 is a low-sensitivity, micro-power Omnipolar Hall effect switch IC designed for portable and battery-powered consumer equipment in home appliance and industrial applications, such as smart-meter magnetic-tamper detection. It offers reliable performance over a wide operating range due to its chopper-stabilized architecture and two sensitive Hall effect plates. Optimized for low power consumption (24W at 3V), it operates from a 2.5V to 5.5V supply and features a single open-drain output that switches with either a north or south magnetic pole. The device provides superior temperature stability, minimal switch point drift, and enhanced immunity to stress and RF noise.
