Product Overview
The AH1911/AH1921 is an ultra-low power digital Omnipolar Hall Effect switch IC designed for battery-powered consumer products, utility meters, smoke detectors, and IoT devices. Its hibernating clocking system achieves an average supply current of only 1.6A at 3V. The wide supply voltage range (1.6V to 5.5V) enhances battery life and supports low-voltage microcontrollers. Featuring a chopper-stabilized design for superior stability and a high ESD level up to 6kV for system robustness, this device offers flexibility in system design. The AH1911 provides a push-pull output, while the AH1921 offers an open-drain output. Both can be activated by either the North or South pole of a magnet, with the output switching on when magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point (BOP) and holding until it drops below the release point (BRP). The device is available in an industry-standard SC59 package.
