AH3774 High-Voltage High-Sensitivity Hall Effect Latch

The AH3774 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall Effect Latch IC designed for applications such as brushless DC motor commutation, flow meters, linear encoders, and position sensors in industrial and consumer home appliances. Optimized for a wide supply range of 3.0V to 28V, it features a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator for temperature-compensated performance. The device includes robust protection mechanisms like a reverse blocking diode with a Zener clamp on the supply and an over-current limit with a Zener clamp on the output. Its single open-drain output switches on with a sufficient South Pole magnetic field and switches off with a sufficient North Pole field, latching the state until the magnetic flux reverses.
