Product Overview
The AH3774 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-effect latch IC designed for applications such as brushless DC motor commutation, flow meters, linear encoders, and position sensors in industrial and consumer home appliances. It operates over a wide supply range of 3.0V to 28V and features a chopper-stabilized architecture for temperature compensation and reliability. The device includes protection mechanisms like a reverse blocking diode and Zener clamp on the supply, as well as an overcurrent limit and Zener clamp on the output. The single open-drain output switches on with a South Pole of sufficient strength and switches off with a North Pole of sufficient strength.
