Product Overview
The ATS177 is an integrated Hall-Effect latch sensor designed for electronic commutation in brush-less DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, comparator, and Schmitt trigger for noise rejection, with an open-collector output. The device offers a wide operating supply range with temperature compensation and built-in reverse polarity protection. It switches the output ON when magnetic flux density exceeds the operate point (Bop) and OFF when it falls below the release point (Brp).
