Product Overview
The AH1898 is a micropower, omnipolar Hall-effect switch IC designed for portable and battery-powered consumer electronics. It features programmable magnetic sensitivity bands, internal pull-up/pull-down capability, and operates over a wide supply voltage range (1.6V to 3.6V) with minimal power consumption (4.3A typical average supply current). The device offers an 8kV ESD rating and is available in a miniature CSP package. It activates with either a north or south magnetic pole and allows for flexible sensitivity selection via the BSEL pin.
