Product Description

The AH1807 is a medium sensitivity, micropower Omnipolar Hall Effect switch IC designed for battery-powered consumer products, home appliances, and industrial equipment. It excels in applications like smart meter magnetic tamper detection. Utilizing two Hall Effect plates and a chopper-stabilized architecture, it ensures reliable performance across its operating range. Optimized for battery and low-power applications, it operates from 2.5V to 5.5V and consumes only 24W at 3V. The single open-drain output switches low when a magnetic flux density perpendicular to the package exceeds the operate point (Bop) and turns off when the flux density drops below the release point (Brp). It remains off in the absence of a magnetic field. Available in SC59, SOT553, and SIP-3L packages.
