Product Overview
The AH1815 is a low-sensitivity, micro-power Omnipolar Hall effect switch IC designed for portable and battery-powered consumer equipment, home appliances, and industrial applications such as smart-meter magnetic-tamper detection. It offers reliable performance over a wide operating range due to its chopper-stabilized architecture and two sensitive Hall effect plates. Optimized for low power consumption (24W at 3V), it operates from 2.5V to 5.5V and features a single open-drain output that switches on with either a north or south pole. The output turns on when magnetic flux density exceeds the operating point (Bop) and turns off when it falls below the releasing point (Brp).
