Product Description

The AH1388 is an ultra-sensitive, miniature micropower dual-output unipolar Hall effect switch IC designed for portable, battery-powered consumer equipment, home appliances, and industrial applications. It operates across a wide supply voltage range (1.6V to 3.6V) and features a sleep function for low average supply current (12A at 1.85V). The device minimizes PCB space with its small X2-DFN1410-4 package. Output1 activates with a sufficient North pole, turning on (pulled low) when magnetic flux density falls below BOPN (-17G typical) and remains low until it rises above BRPN (-11G typical). Output2 activates with a sufficient South pole, turning on (pulled low) when magnetic flux density rises above BOPS (17G typical) and remains low until it falls below BRPS (11G typical). This dual-output capability allows for independent pole detection, offering design flexibility.
