AH3762Q High-Voltage, High-Sensitivity Automotive Hall-Effect Latch

The AH3762Q is an AEC-Q100 qualified, high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall-Effect latch IC designed for automotive applications such as brushless DC-motor commutation, speed measurement, and angular or linear encoders and position sensors. It operates over a wide supply range of 3.0V to 28V and features a chopper-stabilized architecture with an internal bandgap regulator for temperature-compensated supply. The device offers robustness with a reverse blocking diode, Zener clamp on the supply, and an overcurrent limit with Zener clamp on the output. The single, open-drain output switches on with a South pole of sufficient strength and switches off with a North pole of sufficient strength. It is designed for reliable operation across the entire operating range, providing superior temperature stability, minimal switch point drift, and enhanced immunity to stress and RF noise.
