Product Overview
The AH3774 is a high-voltage, high-sensitivity Hall Effect Latch IC designed for reliable commutation in brushless DC motors, flow meters, linear encoders, and position sensors. It is optimized for industrial and consumer home appliance applications, operating over a wide supply range of 3.0V to 28V. The device features a chopper-stabilized architecture and an internal bandgap regulator for temperature-compensated performance, ensuring a reliable solution across its operating range. It includes built-in protection with a reverse blocking diode and Zener clamp on the supply, as well as an over-current limit and Zener clamp on the output. The single open-drain output switches on with a South Pole and off with a North Pole of sufficient strength, with latching behavior until the magnetic flux reverses.
