Usage Considerations
- Avoid touching the diaphragm with hard objects to prevent damage.
- Strictly follow wiring methods to prevent product damage or faults.
- Misuse may lead to danger or personal injury.
- Select a pressure range within 30%FS of actual conditions.
- Gauge pressure is based on current atmospheric pressure. Negative pressure is a special case of gauge pressure where the site pressure is lower than atmospheric.
- Absolute pressure is based on vacuum.
- Sealed gauge pressure uses an absolute pressure die for gauge pressure products based on the atmospheric pressure at the production site.
- Confirm system maximum overload is less than the sensor's overload protection limit to avoid affecting product life or causing damage.
- Gauge pressure sensors cannot substitute for negative pressure sensors due to differences in material and manufacturing processes.
