The CHS1101/CHS1101LF capacitive humidity sensor utilizes a parallel plate capacitor principle, where the dielectric constant of the sensitive material is affected by the concentration of water molecules in the air. This results in a capacitance change (C) proportional to the relative humidity change (%RH). Employing a unique solid-state polymer sensitive material and thin-film microelectronic technology, it offers high sensitivity, good quality factor, rapid response, and a wide measurement range. The base and substrate are made of corrosion-resistant, high-temperature metal materials, with a patented nano-protective coating on the surface to enhance resistance to high temperatures, humidity, dust, and pollution.
