The Broadcom ezPyro thin film digital pyroelectric IR sensor is a compact SMD package that integrates high-quality sensors with advanced configurable electronics. It offers high sensitivity and fast response times for accurate target gas detection. The sensor features a digital, current mode read-out that reduces IR-emitter duty cycles, significantly lowering system-level power consumption while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Programmable gain and filtering provide system design flexibility. Industry-standard I2C communication ensures plug-and-play connectivity to microcontrollers, simplifying tuning and calibration. These sensors are designed for long, maintenance-free operational lifespans due to their stability over time.
