Product Overview
The KPMC29 is a Two-tone Photodiode from KYOSEMI SEMICONDUCTOR, designed to extend the wavelength range by stacking a Si photodiode (short-wavelength sensitivity) and an InGaAs photodiode (long-wavelength sensitivity) on the same optical axis. This integration, with the InGaAs photodiode housed within a recess in the Si photodiode's substrate, results in a compact and thin transfer mold package, achieving a height as low as possible and an 1/8 volume reduction compared to earlier models. It offers a wide sensitive wavelength range from 400nm to 1700nm and is compatible with reflow soldering. Applications include spectrophotometers, radiation thermometers, medical equipment, health care equipment, and fiber optic testing equipment.
