Product Overview
The HEDM-55xx/56xx and HEDS-55xx/56xx series are high-performance, low-cost optical incremental encoders designed for easy assembly and high reliability. These encoders offer two or three channels, providing square wave outputs in quadrature with an optional third channel index pulse. They are suitable for a wide range of high-volume motion detection applications, including printers, plotters, tape drives, positioning tables, and automatic handlers. The series features resolutions up to 1024 counts per revolution (CPR) and operates on a single 5V supply, making them a cost-effective solution for motion control.
