The HEDS-55xx/56xx and HEDM-55xx/56xx series are high-performance, low-cost optical incremental encoders designed for reliable motion detection in high-volume applications. These encoders offer two or three channels with quadrature outputs and an optional index pulse, providing high resolution up to 1024 Counts Per Revolution (CPR). They are engineered for easy and quick assembly onto motors, featuring TTL compatibility and a single 5V supply. Ideal for use in printers, plotters, tape drives, positioning tables, and automatic handlers, these encoders deliver accurate motion feedback without requiring signal adjustment. For larger motors, specific HEDM and HEDS models include external mounting ears.
