The ezPyroTM range of thin film digital pyroelectric IR sensors are designed for gas detection and concentration measurement. These sensors combine high-quality sensing elements with configurable electronic integration in a compact SMD package. Featuring high sensitivity and fast response times, they ensure rapid and accurate detection of target gases. The integrated digital, current-mode read-out allows for lower IR-emitter duty cycles, significantly reducing system-level power consumption while maintaining a high signal-to-noise ratio (SNR). Programmable gain and filtering provide flexibility in system design, and industry-standard I2C communication ensures plug-and-play connectivity to microcontrollers for easy tuning and calibration. ezPyro sensors offer high stability over time, ensuring a long and maintenance-free operational lifespan. Various optical filter options are available, and sensors can be daisy-chained for synchronized sampling.
