Product Overview
The BDH8181 is a high-sensitivity integrated Hall-effect latched sensor designed for the electronic commutation of brushless DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator for Hall voltage amplification, and a Schmitt trigger for noise rejection and open-collector output. An internal bandgap regulator ensures temperature-compensated supply voltage across a wide operating range. The device activates its output when exposed to a magnetic field of sufficient strength and deactivates it in the absence of a field. Available in TO-92S-3 and SOT-23-3 packages, the BDH8181 is suitable for various brushless DC motor applications.
