Product Overview

The AEDR-850X is the industry's smallest 3-channel reflective incremental encoder with digital outputs, designed for motion control applications. Its compact size (3.95 mm x 3.4 mm x 0.9562 mm) and surface mount leadless package make it ideal for miniature commercial and industrial applications where space is a critical concern. Operating over a temperature range of 20C to 85C, it offers two-channel quadrature digital outputs for direction sensing and a third channel for index digital output. The TTL-compatible outputs ensure easy integration with most signal processing circuitries, providing significant design flexibility. This encoder is suitable for high-volume applications such as close-loop stepper motors, miniature motors, printers, copiers, card readers, scanners, and projectors.
