Product Overview
The BDH8182 is a high-sensitivity, integrated Hall-effect latched sensor designed for the electronic commutation of brushless DC motor applications. It features an on-chip Hall voltage generator, a comparator for Hall voltage amplification, and a Schmitt trigger for noise rejection and hysteresis. The device includes an internal bandgap regulator for temperature-compensated supply voltage, enabling a wide operating supply range. A sufficiently strong north pole activates the output (ON), while the absence of a magnetic field deactivates it (OFF). The BDH8182 is available in TO-92S-3 and SOT-23-3 packages.
