Product Overview
The D-44 BW Series Area Sensor is a through-beam type photoelectric sensor designed for long-distance detection up to 7 meters. It offers a wide range of configurations with 22 product types, featuring optical axis pitches of 20mm or 40mm and sensing heights from 120mm to 940mm. The 20mm optical axis pitch minimizes unsensing areas, making it ideal for precise detection. High-brightness LEDs on both the emitter and receiver ensure easy recognition from side, front, and long distances. The sensor includes self-diagnosis, mutual interference prevention, and external diagnosis functions for reliable operation. Its robust IP65 protection structure makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments.

- Use the product, 1 sec after supplying power. When using separate power supply for the sensor and load, supply power to sensor first.
- When using switching mode power supply to supply the power, ground F.G. terminal and connect a condenser between 0V and F.G. terminal to remove noise.
- When connecting a DC relay or other inductive load, remove surge by using diodes or varistors.
- Wire as short as possible and keep away from high voltage lines or power lines, to prevent surge and inductive noise.
- This unit may be used in the following environments: Indoors (in the environment condition rated in 'Specifications') Altitude max. 2,000m Pollution degree 2 Installation category II.
