The D-44 BW Series Area Sensor is a through-beam type photoelectric sensor designed for long-distance detection up to 7 meters. The 20mm optical axis pitch (BW20-) minimizes unsensing areas, ensuring comprehensive coverage. Safety and Usage Precautions

  • Read Safety Considerations in the instruction manual before use.
  • Use 12-24VDC power supply that is insulated and limited voltage/current or Class 2, SELV.
  • Wait 1 sec after supplying power before using the product. Supply power to the sensor first if using separate power supplies for sensor and load.
  • For switching mode power supplies, ground F.G. terminal and connect a condenser between 0V and F.G. terminal to remove noise.
  • For DC relays or other inductive loads, remove surge using diodes or varistors.
  • Wire as short as possible and keep away from high voltage lines or power lines to prevent surge and inductive noise.
  • Suitable for indoor use within rated environmental conditions, altitude max. 2,000m, pollution degree 2, installation category II.
