Product Overview
The BWC Series Cross-Beam Area Sensor offers a minimized blind zone through a 3-point cross-beam netting method, enabling a long sensing distance of 1 to 7 meters. It provides a wide range of model choices, featuring various optical axis counts (4 to 20), optical axis pitches (40, 80mm), and sensing widths (120 to 1,040mm). Key features include an easy installation mode, built-in interference protection, and a self-diagnosis function that monitors front screen contamination and optical axis obstruction, providing status feedback via external equipment. High-luminance indicators on the emitter and receiver ensure easy status checks from various angles and distances. This sensor is suitable for applications requiring obstacle detection, such as subway platform screen doors (PSD), and meets Korean Railway Standard (KRS) conditions for specific models (BWC80-14HD). The protection structure is rated IP67 (IEC standard).
