Product Overview
The AS5600L is a 12-bit programmable on-axis magnetic rotary position sensor offering high-resolution IC or PWM output. This contactless system measures the absolute angle of a diametric magnetized magnet, making it ideal for potentiometer applications. Its robust design is unaffected by homogenous external stray magnetic fields. The IC interface allows for simple, non-volatile parameter programming without a dedicated programmer. Users can define a full 0-360 degree range or a custom range by programming start and stop positions. The AS5600L features a smart low-power mode for reduced consumption and a DIR input pin to select output polarity based on rotation direction. Available in SOIC-8 and ultra-small WL-CSP packages, both rated for -40C to 125C operation.
