D-37 SENSORS CONTROLLERS MOTION DEVICES SOFTWARE
Cross-Beam Area Sensor
The Cross-Beam Area Sensor offers a minimized blind zone due to its 3-point cross-beam netting method, providing a long sensing distance ranging from 1 to 7 meters. It features 14 model types with a wide selection of optical axis numbers (4 to 20), optical axis pitches (40, 80mm), and sensing widths (120 to 1,040mm). The sensor includes an installation mode for easy setup, built-in interference protection, and a self-diagnosis function. The self-diagnosis output alerts to sensing front screen contamination and optical axis covering, enabling status monitoring from external equipment. High luminance indicators on the emitter/receiver ensure easy status checks from various angles and distances. This sensor is suitable for Korean Railway Standards (BWC80-14HD meets KRS conditions) and is utilized in various environments, such as an obstacle detecting sensor for subway platform screen doors (PSD).
