Product Overview
The AS5270 is a dual-die, high-resolution absolute angular position sensor utilizing Hall sensor technology. It measures the orthogonal component of flux density (Bz) over a full-turn rotation and offers compensation for external stray magnetic fields. Available with analog (AS5270A) or digital (AS5270B) output interfaces, the AS5270B can be programmed as PWM or SENT-compliant. It requires a simple two-pole magnet and provides instant angular position indication. The device operates at a 5V supply voltage with overvoltage protection up to +20V and reverse polarity protection up to 20V on supply pins. The AS5270A features a stacked dual-chip design for high-reliability redundant operation.
