Product Overview
The D-44 BW Series Area Sensor is a high-performance through-beam type sensor designed for long-distance detection up to 7 meters. It offers a wide range of configurations with 22 product types, featuring optical axis pitches of 20mm or 40mm and sensing heights from 120mm to 940mm. The 20mm optical axis pitch minimizes unsensing areas, making it ideal for precise detection. High-brightness LEDs on both the emitter and receiver ensure easy recognition from various angles and distances. The sensor includes advanced functions such as self-diagnosis, mutual interference prevention, and external diagnosis. Its robust IP65 protection structure (IEC standard) makes it suitable for demanding industrial environments.

Proper Usage
- Follow instructions in 'Proper Usage'.
- Use 12-24VDC power supply that is insulated and limited voltage/current or Class 2, SELV.
- Use the product 1 second after supplying power. If using separate power supplies, power the sensor first.
- When using a switching mode power supply, ground F.G. terminal and connect a condenser between 0V and F.G. terminal to remove noise.
- When connecting a DC relay or other inductive load, remove surge by using diodes or varistors.
- Wire as short as possible and keep away from high voltage lines or power lines to prevent surge and inductive noise.
- Suitable for indoor use (within rated environment conditions), altitude max. 2,000m, pollution degree 2, and installation category II.
