AS5601 12-Bit Programmable Contactless Encoder
The AS5601 is an easy-to-program magnetic rotary position sensor offering 12-bit digital outputs for incremental quadrature (A/B) signals. It features a PUSH output that detects fast airgap changes, enabling a contactless pushbutton function. Designed for contactless encoder applications, its planar Hall sensor technology provides robust rejection of external stray magnetic fields. The device supports user programming of non-volatile parameters via an industry-standard IC interface and includes a smart low-power mode.
