Storage and Handling Recommendations

Storage:

  • Store in original packaging; do not open before storage.
  • Recommended storage temperature: 25C to +45C.
  • Relative humidity: Less than 75% on average, maximum 95% (no dew precipitation).
  • Avoid exposure to heat or direct sunlight.
  • Do not store in environments with corrosive gases (SOx, Cl, etc.).
  • Use thermistors as soon as possible after opening factory seals.
  • Recommended soldering within 12 months for SMDs and 24 months for leaded components after shipment.

Handling:

  • Prevent components from being dropped to avoid damage.
  • Use gloves; do not touch with bare hands.
  • Prevent contamination of the thermistor surface.

Soldering:

  • Use resin-type or non-activated flux.
  • Ensure proper preheating to avoid ceramic cracks.
  • Rapid cooling by dipping in solvent is not recommended.
  • Completely remove flux residue after soldering.
